How do I become a GLDG library member? TOP
Your approved donation of $50 or more in books or videos gets you a year
membership. If you’d like a membership but don’t have books or videos
to donate, you can make a monetary donation of only $25 a year. 100% of
that money goes back into the GLDG Library by supplying the library
with new materials, shipping supplies, website costs, etc. More materials will
be available for check out the sooner you sign up! How do I donate items to the library? TOP
Click on the "contact us" link and tell me what you've got, and I'll write you back with an answer. Some things we already have more then one copy of, but if it's something that gets checked out a lot we can always use more! Thank you for considering a library donation.

How do I make a monetary donation? TOP
To start your membership now chose one of these options.
- Purchase a library card here using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, or Paypal.
- Go under your User CP on the top tool bar of the forum. Down on the bottom of the left hand column click on paid subscriptions.
Here you will have the opportunity to join the program via pay pal for
a $25 donation.
- You may also join by check or money order, please contact us
with glass library in the subject line for an address.
What do you do with the monetary donations? TOP
We buy new materials, pay for shipping supplies, and website costs. This project is 100% non-profit! We just want to see it expand.
How many items can I check out at a time? TOP
At this time you may only check out 3 items at a time. This will hopefully increase as more materials become available. How long can I keep library materials? TOP
Please send items back within two weeks of receiving them so that other library members may enjoy them.
I want to keep my item longer than two weeks, what can I do? TOP
If the item is something that doesn't get checked out a lot it shouldn't be a problem. Send an email to find out.
Is there a limit on how many items I can check out over the year? TOP
There is no limit to how many items you can check out over the year! So
comparing this to those rental sites out there, you are going to get a
much bigger bang for your buck, and help this program grow so that you
have more to chose from! It’s a great set up if you ask me! 
How come there's a charge to check out items? TOP
There isn't! The only thing you are paying for is s&h costs.
How will my item be shipped? TOP
To save you the most money, items 13 ounces and under will travel 1st class mail. Items over 13 ounces will travel media mail.
How can I find out if my item has been shipped to me? TOP
Go to Order Status and find out. 
How will my item be shipped back to the library? TOP
Hey, that's up to you. Just mail it back in time ok! The return address will come with your check out invoice.
If I live outside the US, can I still check out library items? TOP
I'm sorry but not at this time. The shipping time would eat up to many days.
What happens if I damage or lose an item? TOP
If you damage or lose library items you will be asked to replace them.
If you chose not to replace them, well what can I really do but deny
you membership to the library. We have a great group of people here so

hoping it won’t ever be a problem. I'd like to check out something that's not in the library, can I make a request? TOP
Yes, please do! We use the membership fees to purchase new materials and are very interested in what you want to see here. If you make a request for something it will go on the list of things to buy, and will eventually be available in the library for you to check out.
